Welcome to ZAN

Welcome to the Anchorage Air Route Traffic Control Center (ZAN ARTCC), home of the Alaskan frontier! The wide variety of terrain, private and public airports, and even a little oceanic airspace lie within the confines of one of the largest ARTCC's in the United States. Please take a look around our website for information about controlling, or flying some of the most beautiful passes known in Flight Simulator, all here in Alaska.

Some of our current projects include refilling the senior staff positions with ambitious and dedicated personnel, creating a brand new website that will make finding whatever it is you need much easier, and of course making our airspace open and welcome to everyone! So take a nice long cross country to the real North Country or take a short hop across the Aleutian chain, and enjoy some beautiful scenery, excellent controlling, and helpful staff!
